I think I forgot. For a while. Quite a while.
Not sure if anyone still follows this here blog, but incase there is anyone out there that still follows me or has me on their reader.. We have a life update!

We had a baby!

Labor and delivery is quite a story! Maybe someday I'll share it in full. Suffice it to say - I started labor at 9pm-ish on Thursday night, labored by myself through the night with contractions every 15-30 minutes, had Chrizelle-my Dula friend come in the morning, shuffled off to the hospital a little while later where I was admitted at 5.5 cm dilated, and got to 8.5 cm dilated by 6pm-ish and finally conceded to the epidural. And my water had to be broken 45min before we met little Roo (and my water got everyone in the room except Chris. . It even got me!). I'm so glad I was able to deliver with the midwives at the U, and I had a great team, and a great Dula friend (Chrizelle, not sure what I would have done without her) and a great Dula #2/Photographer - my SIL Caroline..and a very great and supportive Chris-ah.
Ruby had a lot of family in town and many great visitors (not pictured - Chris's bro Steve&Amanda's fam, they had colds, sad day).
So now that Roo is nearly 6 months old, I'll have to post again to catch you up on this little miss. She is full of personality and happiness and we're so grateful to have her in our lives. I'll leave you with this teaser pic :)
